STARLIGHT MEADOW

Astronomy glamping in Kent

Ten acres. Plenty of room to breathe.

Starlight Meadow sits within approximately ten acres of meadow and woodland near Lamberhurst, on the Kent and East Sussex border.

It isn't a landscaped holiday park. And we'd rather keep it that way.

Paths weave through the grass. Mature trees frame the meadow. Hazel, oak, field maple and blackthorn grow around its edges and through the woodland. Wildlife was here long before us and remains an important part of the place.

A meadow, not a campsite

We've deliberately kept the number of places to stay small. That means space between cabins, darker skies at night and room for nature alongside our guests.

You may wake to birds outside your cabin, spot bats overhead at dusk or simply spend half an hour watching the meadow change as the sun goes down.

Treading lightly.

We're restoring and managing areas of woodland and coppice while keeping permanent infrastructure to a minimum.

Our approach is deliberately simple: work with the land rather than trying to turn it into something else.

That philosophy influences everything from our removable accommodation and solar power to composting toilets, environmentally considerate soaps and the way we manage waste and water.

Starlight Meadow will continue to evolve. The meadow shouldn't need to.

See the meadow for yourself.

Aaron and Brody visited while we were testing Starlight Meadow, before it opened to guests. Watch their film exploring the accommodation, woodland and riverside meadow.

This video was filmed during pre-opening testing. Please note that guest vehicles are not permitted on the meadow and we are unable to accommodate dogs
