Telescope Cottage
Situated at the end of the meadow, close to a bend in the river, Telescope Cottage has a stunning view of the whole meadow up to the entrance gate.
Telescope Cottage offers 26 m² of covered space, with generous sleeping and living areas and an adjoining sheltered terrace. Its walls and roof panels can be opened to the meadow and sky.

The entry gate is reached using a grass track through the vineyard. A moderately steep incline is necessary to reach the cabins.
The meadow is currently not suitable for guests with limited mobility or difficulty walking on uneven or sloping ground. Please contact us before booking if you would like to discuss your individual requirements.
Guests’ cars can access the top of the meadow for off-loading only before parking in The Vineyard pub carpark.
Your luggage and food can be taken to your cabin either from the top of the meadow or from the Vineyard pub carpark (3-5 minutes walk from the gate).
Please let us know when you will be arriving and we can arrange the most convenient way for your luggage to reach your cabin.

No dogs
Please bring sturdy, old footwear. And, particularly if you want to explore the woodland, please bring long trousers.
A 15 tog duvet, pillows and bed linen are provided. Even in summer it can become quite cool overnight, so warm sleepwear is recommended.
Each cabin has its own self-contained composting toilet which is serviced regularly. The composting process is managed responsibly as part of our environmental programme to benefit the site.
